Imagine if you could earn commissions on a popular brand only through a link on your site or in your e-mail. That, my friends, is “Affiliate Marketing”!

OK … It is not as simple as that, but it has not much more complicated either.

Let’s start with some definitions. The advertiser or merchant, the company that the product is sold. A partner, sometimes as an editor or a partner, is another person or company that has helped promote the product and earns a commission. (You could!) In between are the managing partners for the service account that the advertisers with the affiliates and keeps track of sales and commissions.

If you want to be a partner, you first need a product that you want to sell, or select a service account management. You will end up with two, but the choice of one is the choice to decide for others. If you choose the product first, then the advertiser on the service account management that they have already drawn with the work. If the service account management that you first choose, they will give you a list of suppliers who offer them do business with.

To see if your favorite product or company offers an affiliate program, visit their website and check the menu bar or the bottom of the screen. Look around the word “partner”. Click on this link, through their program and requirements to read and fill out their application. Some companies require specific types of Web pages for their links with the site. You will receive everything you need to know to get started.

If you do not know what particular product you want to promote or if you want to promote more, I recommend browsing through participating merchants on the site account management Web service.

Try to stick with products or ideas that you know and love. It will be much easier for visitors to your market, if you value the relationship you want, click Add. recommendations and personal stories better than a banner or a text link alone. Give them a reason, “click here”.

Welcome to the world of affiliate marketing! Good luck with your new project!
