Even if you’re busy right now, when you stop marketing to the next three months, you make me high and dry when it comes to customers, because you have stopped the flow.

As an independent professional, I can totally relate to their own employees on the market. It seems that the days are never long enough to get everything on my list to do. But as a marketing professional, I know I can not afford not done my market.

So how busy gal (or man) to do??

Here are 5 suggestions … These are the things I do and recommend to all my clients in my system 10stepmarketing.

  1. If you have not already created a marketing schedule. Schedule all of your marketing activities in the calendar of the frequency you’re not in your marketing plan provided.  If you have something scheduled every month, then give it to see on the calendar once a month. Weekly? Give them four times a month. Do this for each planned activity.
  2. Hang your marketing calendar on your desktop or on a bulletin board on the wall. Get used to watch every morning. So you do not have the problem of “Out of Site of the mind is.”  I can not tell you how much I have customers, marketing plans have in a folder in a drawer at the end. You are sure not to grow your business so!
  3. Try to integrate the marketing activities within your weekly and daily to-do list. Enter the activity as a task to perform tasks in your calendar and your PDA as your schedule and other economic activities.  I do it with all my marketing activities. I use Microsoft Outlook and Pocket PC, and is the only way I know I’m standing on the right track. If something in my calendar, I treat him like any other meeting or appointment, and I do.  For example, every Wednesday, will see a little note to remind me to write my weekly ezine. If this does not happen I would be writing on Monday at midnight, or would it not be done.
  4. Choose one day a month to review your marketing schedule in detail, and I look forward to three months. What is at the door, you need to prepare now? What you should do in your task list, or PDA, you do not forget to transfer to? I usually do at the end of the month, as I do all my work a month … Things such as running sales reports will update my billing information and reports marketing tracking.  Get used to your marketing at the same time, you will review these tasks. After a few months does not even have to think more about it, it will become a habit.
  5. Consider an assistant, hire or support to help the person. If some of the tasks of the dishes that are not really necessary, you can take your expertise, it will set you free to concentrate on what I call “revenue-producing activities.”

These are things like working with customers, creating products and services and marketing. I could not believe the difference made when I hired some help.

I do not think I could afford it, but now I do not know how I lasted so long without help!  If you have a way to get back in line with your marketing you do on a regular basis is really part of how you do business.  Suddenly, it seems more like marketing. This is what you do to manage your business. That’s when it becomes easy.  And, that’s when you know that your business will continue to be busy and profitable in the long term.
